JOB DESCRIPTION
Mod Media is currently building a network of contractors for future collaborations, seeking experienced property measurement technicians on a project-to-project basis. This role involves drafting RMS-compliant measurement reports and floor plans, offering an ideal gig opportunity for those with the required skill set. Please be aware that work volume may vary.
REQUIREMENTS
-1-2 years of experience in residential measurements adhering to the Real Estate Council of Alberta’s (RECA) Residential Measurement Standard (RMS).
-Familiarity with other measurement standards such as ANSI Z765 or BOMA is considered an asset.
-Expertise in determining above and below-grade levels.
-Ownership of essential tools, equipment, and software for precise measurement and floor plan compilation.
-Local to Edmonton or surrounding areas, with flexible daytime availability.
-Possession of a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle.
-Maintenance of errors and omissions (E&O) insurance.
-Strong communication skills for client interaction.
WORK SCHEDULE
-Project-based, Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm.
-Up to 24 hours' notice for scheduled appointments.
COMPENSATION
A fair and mutually agreed-upon per-job fee will be predetermined. Proposed compensation is based on property size and ranges from $50-$225 per job. Opportunities for increased earnings will be based on performance.
